Subject: [slocobirding] Hooded Oriole - Morro Bay yard
A female type plumaged Hooded Oriole paid a visit to our yard this afternoon. It was seen briefly bathing and foraging in the nearby brush. This species is considered a rare seasonal visitor at this time of year. Spring/Summer numbers begin to return again to SLO County in March county and continue to be present during the breeding season.

What I can learn is that during the non breeding season the species is expected in most of Mexico.
