I understand that the Carolina Wren is expanding its range northward, but I did not expect to see it today in the snowstorm foraging under the house siding just above snow level. We have several neighbors that have feeders out up here on Tenney Mt. It departed before I could get some photos, leaving only a nice line of tracks in the snow.
