Subject: [AZNMbirds] Rainy day Tucson birds
Late this morning I went to McCormick Park to drop off glass recycling and
compost, and I was pleased to see 20+ *Western Bluebirds* flying near the
west end of the park and landing in the trees.

On the way back home down Glenn Street near Craycroft, a pair of *Harris'
Hawks *were mating atop one of the phone poles. Jim and I had seen a
single bird in that same location last evening.

Later this afternoon, I took advantage of a brief pause in the rain to walk
our dog in the neighborhood - and I was treated to 35 or so *Cedar
Waxwings* flying
across the street and landing in a neighbor's mesquite. And a *Say's
Phoebe* flying around as it started to sprinkle again.

Lovely to have more rain in the desert, and a sprinkling of birds makes it
even better.

Happy Birding!
