Subject: [slocobirding] PALM and TENNESSEE WARBLERS still here !!

The Tennessee warbler, first observed in my backyard on 12-7-25, and the Palm warbler, first observed in my backyard on 12-30-25, were both observed in my backyard today ! The TEWA at about 10:30 am feeding on the Cape honeysuckle blossoms and The PAWA coming in to the water bubbler for a quick drink at about 5:00 pm. I’ve observed the PAWA each of the past four days in a row and intermittently before that every few days or so. I’ve not observed the TEWA for a couple of weeks prior to today’s sighting ( I’m assuming it’s the same individual). Also of note, there were no fewer than six OCWA in the backyard this morning which is the most I’ve seen in the yard at one time since I began keeping track more than 20 years ago.

Special Day !!
