Close views allowed confident identification, showing a large-headed, with a heavy bill, gray head and chest, olive-brown upperparts, and bright yellow underparts. The bird remained in view for several minutes while actively flycatching. 34.4221079,-119.6610796"

Two birds seen at the same time. Small, short-tailed passerines with long beaks giving characteristic vocalizations. Yellow throat and vent area, white belly, yellow-green upperparts, prominent white eye ring."
