Subject: [CT Birds] Western Meadowlark
Hutton Road, Somers 1/22/26, 2PM: Western Meadowlark seen in the road and
flying between the roadside trees & the road. Several other folks also
there to see it. People have put corn & seed along the roadside which it
keeps going to. I fear it may stay too long & be unable to withstand the
coming frigid & snowy weather. Also at least 150 Horned Lark, pair of adult
Bald Eagles, dozen Juncos.
