Subject: [Ohio-birds] Hamilton county - slow…..
I was expecting more waterfowl. Lake Barber and Newtown Gravel were hopping!
So maybe slow in some areas of the county……I enjoyed seeing birds gathered
Together in tight flocks. For example 33 goldeneye together, 13 pied billed Grebes,
14 common Mergs. Etc. Birds of a feather…. This was Newtown Gravel. Lake Barber and
Held the geese. 272. I scanned well. Still no Cackling……

But this was it for any numbers. Lost Bridge was basically nothing…… etc….

I'll never figure this out…..

I was going to hit Armleder for passerines, but the wind kicked up big time.
I don't like wind!

Snowfall forecast is up to 12 inches. Yes! Field birding possibilities!

Good birding all.
