Subject: [de-birds] Winter Birds in Southern Sussex
This morning we had a very handsome fox sparrow scratching in the front
garden to eat the seed spread there. Earlier in the week, a tail-bobbing
hermit thrush took a brief bath in our heated water pan. Water seems to be
the most attractive feature to birds in the winter.
