I'm a little late on this, but sections of St. Marks NWR are closed to public access on January 20, 21 and 23 (Tuesday through Thursday) this week to allow for feral hog eradication. You can see a map at the refuge website: https://www.fws.gov/refuge/st-marks
This includes most of the main birding areas, although you can still access the immediate Lighthouse area.
Hogs are a problem and this is regrettable, but necessary.
