Subject: [Ohio-birds] Hamilton big year birding
Slow. The big freeze up hasn’t started yet. Sunday. And the wind was bad making viewing
Difficult now and then! I did some passerines birding. Armleder. There’s stuff around - purple
Finch, yr warblers, RC kinglet - that was new for the year. No creeper…. And I couldn’t pick
Out any Rusty blackbirds in the blackbird flock. I think I managed a WB nuthatch pic! That is
Next on my pic list. And third is house sparrow. Joy - since I’ll probably be home a lot during
This cold spell, maybe now’s the time for its pic!

Most of my time this morning was spent looking at geese flocks and lakes. Seemed like
Less species around…… they must know the big freeze is coming……
