The 4th winter county record of Swainson's Thrush continued yesterday since late December at Encinitas Community Park and the male Northern Parula continued along Carmel Mountain Road where it was mostly frequenting the mistletoe clumps in the now leafless sycamore trees. This morning, Weds, in the TRV, the White-throated Sparrow continues near the west end of the Bird & Butterfly Garden with the White crowned flock, and the brighter White-throated Sparrow that was present all fall is still present at the northwest section of the Community Gardens next door. Also at the extreme northwest corner of the community gardens, in the plot that has a bunch of potted plants and then also in the willows that form the very northwest border of the gardens, is a continuing Palm Warbler found just a couple days ago.
