Subject: [sbcobirding] Sunday Carpinteria rarity check
To add to Florence's post, as far as I know, the Prothonotary Warbler
remained a no-show at Cactus Lane. Two out of town birders were still there
when I left, and I saw them later at the Grace's Warbler spot, and they
told me they never saw the Prothonotary. After hearing of our failure,
Larry Ballard checked as well. Last I heard, just before 1pm, he had not
seen the bird. As I understand it, it had been pretty reliable up until
today.

Over at Santa Ynez Road, I walked into Catlin Circle and couldn't find the
Grace's Warbler. But as I was leaving, I found it in pines along the west
side of Santa Ynez. I gather it had been pretty consistent in the
courtyard at Catlin Circle, but today it was on Santa Ynez.
