I'm the Oregon CBC editor and am wondering whether the high kestrel numbers
of this fall carried over into the CBC season in NW California.
Here, they did in western Oregon but not in the northeast quarter of the
state. Several counts west of the Cascades had all-time records, for example
Tillamook Bay averages 15 and found 48.
