One seen flying towards the beginning of the boardwalk and then disappeared. Stocky large Bittern with long thick neck and bill, brown overall with darker outer wing and primaries and thick and large yellow legs with long toes projecting. Not able to get pics"

- Comments: "*Rare but regular winter. SY(?) male on N Helena and SY(?) female at Witch Grove. Brown and orange orioles with male having small black throat, harsh raspy chattering and male singing partial bubbly whistled song. Pics"

- Comments: "Continuing female that somehow didn’t get washed away in recent storms. In one of its usual hangouts in oaks where paths intersect just west of playground. Black-and-white plumage. Pale throat, double-white wingbars, black spots on white undertail. Nuthatching its way on upper trunks. Pics."

Both appear to be males, one showing slightly less and drabber yellow underside, as well as grayer back than other continuing brighter individual, with greener back. Giving sharp, metallic tink calls."

Cool-looking bird looking mostly like AUYRWA but with bright white throat (brighter than the dull whitish throat of some HY AUYRWA), faint supercillium, dark mask molting in, and very weird intermediate chip. At S Dower. KH has pics."
