I was very surprised to see a male Brown-headed Cowbird at the feeder briefly this morning. Four Bluebirds visit the sunflower chip feeders occasionally when it's cold and the 3 males and 1 female were present today.. There were at least 40 Goldfinches jockeying for feeding positions on the three sunflower chip feeders. Juncos and White-throated Sparrows have returned with the cold temperatures.
