Subject: [sd-birds] Sanborn Birds
I have a flicker hanging around and he loves my homemade suet. In past
years I never saw one at the feeders but I took down my halos that keep the
house sparrows away. If you aren't familiar with the halo, it is like
magic. Some call it the magic halo. House sparrows don't like it.

Ugh, I'd forgotten how bad they had become...They aren't eating the suet
yet but the blue jays and juncos and all the woodpeckers are.

When I used the halos, i didnt get bluejays or juncos eating the suet.

On a side note, My brother near Letcher has a red breasted nuthatch. None
here.
