- Comments: "Smaller than nearby Black-bellied Plovers. Distant views with scope showed this "plump" bird to be long winged, long legged with yellowish wash on face. The "blocky" head showed distinct ear spot, lighter nape than crown, short bill and faint yellowish flecking on back. Observed appx. 100 yards south from the end of the south boardwalk viewing area."
