I have had birds at my feeders for years. This year we had an invasion of rats and I haven't been putting out as much seed as I used to. Turns out my husband had stopped feeding them for a few days. Now I haven't seen any birds at all for several days. I am very upset and want to know if there is a chance they will never come back. I have lived here for 40+ years but this year have not seen one winter sparrow, no chickadees, no juncoes, nothing. What can I do?
