Tuesday, with no rain in the forecast, I went out to look for the Summer Tanager originally spotted by Jack Hayden at Booker T Anderson park. When I arrived a group of birders had spotted it in the trees along the creek and within a couple of minutes I had a photo. Amazing. We spotted it several times and with some help from Sam Zuckerman I got a photo of the Tanager with small bee in its bill. A Lifer for me. Now about seeing one in its summer colors.
