Date: 12/28/25 3:58 pm From: Susan Smith via groups.io <seiurus...> Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Plumbeous Vireo, Summer Tanager continue in the Carroll Creek Area, Sorrento Valley, 12/28.
The subject birds continue in the Carroll Creek Area near the intersection of 805 and Sorrento Valley Rd, and there were at least two Wilson's Warblers among the willows here t0o. I think it was Paul Lehman who first reported the SUTA here last fall, and I have been tracking the Vireo and Wilson's since I think late October. The vireo was kind of puzzling at first, as the cheek area was not discreet, and I could not track the more telling details before, but I finally got some photos this time. The stream is running nicely. If you go there, please keep to the parking lot area south of the stream. Details in the checklist at https://ebird.org/checklist/S290827494 Sue
