Subject: [sbcobirding] Buffleheads
This morning I made a quick stop at Laguna Blanca. In the dim light, and
through binoculars only, I counted a minimum of 85 Buffleheads. I only
counted the males of the many that were distant, so there's a good
likelihood of a three-digit number at the lake. Pretty impressive.

This morning Paul Lehman reported that there are two dozen Cave Swallows at
the Salton Sea, and one was seen in Ventura County yesterday. If you see a
swallow with a buffy rump like a Cliff Swallow, try to get photos, and
please get the word out right away!
