Didn't find a Common Merganser as was reported yesterday at the Bird Refuge, but I did see 1 male and 2 female Hooded Mergansers along the north side of the western island. Also 1 male and 2 female Wood Ducks from the 3rd platform looking at the reeds below where the miniature zoo train goes by. Also one Sharp-shinned Hawk and one Tropical Kingbird.
