Success! All three scoters for the big year! 191 now for the year.
I also chased the shoveler at the Waters edge housing development. Those spots
Can be good for birds! No shoveler though. I didn’t explore housing developments
Or industrial area retention ponds at all this year. Oh well! I thought about cruising
Around the area looking for the needed bird. But decided I wanted to try Ceaser
Creek for the scoter. Glad I did! I finally met George Keller - the Flamingo finder!
He explores a lot up there. And took me right to the scoter!
Good birding all. One more day in Clinton. Then time to start Hamilton!
