A note on parking: You can park along Windmill Ranch Road <https://maps.app.goo.gl/bP9Skc5sbqN1wr4K9> and then walk back out to El Camino Del Norte and head east on the sidewalk until you hit the trail. Google maps tries to send you through someone's private driveway. To Geoff's question about status: The CBRC has accepted two prior records of Winter Wren for San Diego County <https://californiabirds.org/queryDatabase.asp?species=winter+wren&county=sd&STARTDATE=&enddate=&partial=on&accepted=on&sort=date> : winter 2010-2011 at Point Loma Nazarene University, and winter 2023-2024 along the San Luis Rey River near Pala.
