Saturday the 20th 7 parties completed the Halstead/Newton CBC. I think I have most totals in and we hit 69 species. That is a fairly good number for this count. Two new birds for the count included Black-throated Sparrow (it was kind enough to land on the car of the group leader) and Greater Roadrunner. Both. were documented with photos.
