Today at about 13:00 there was an aberrant Heerman's gull a few hundred yards north of the Pismo Beach pier. It was, or was similar to, what the Sibley app calls "rare, but regular" white primary coverts" variant, adult alternate. It was in the same place for the past 3 days.
