Subject: [EBB-Sightings] East Bay Bluebird Berry Bash
The American Holly tree in my normally bird-less windswept yard in El
Cerrito berries ripened apparently overnight. A family (?) of five (2
adults and 3 young)Western Bluebirds, TWO Hermit Thrushes, two Ruby-crowned
Kinglets, an orange-crowned Warbler, two Yelliw-rumps, a Junco, Bewick’s
Wren, Anna’s Hummingbird, a Scrub-Jay and a Nuttalls Woodpecker joined the
feast. In ten minutes it was over.
