The Wakefield Christmas Bird Count is this Sunday, December 21. There is a LOT of accessible area in this count as the count circle includes much of the upper part of Milford Lake and associated wildlife areas. We never have enough birders in the field to cover this as it should be. We meet at the Convenience Store in Wakefield at 7:30 (right on Highway K-82, you can't miss it!) and then lunch at the Cove around noon.
