On Monday, two Black Scoters were swimming and diving in Richmond Harbor just west of the marina, loosely associated with a small flock of Sure Scoters. I scoped them at distance from Lucretia Edwards Park across the channel from Vincent Park. This species has been a regular winter visitor at the marina in recent years. Tara McIntire reported one Nov. 16. It's great to see them back.
