Since the latest snowfall in the area, I have had a few good sightings at my feeders. On Saturday, I had a female purple finch at the feeders along with several goldfinches and house finches. On Sunday, I had a song sparrow show up with the juncos, goldfinches and house finches. Today's surprise was a female yellow-bellied sapsucker along with downy woodpecker, hairy woodpecker and red-bellied woodpecker feeding on the suet feeders.
