ON December 13th while walking the dogs, I saw a large flock of Wild Turkeys beyond a row of cedar trees, both running and flying across a field up into the woods.
Through the trees I counted 35 running and estimated a total of at least 50 birds altogether as they took flight.
This is the largest single flock of Wild Turkeys we’ve seen here in 30 years.
