Subject: Winter storm birds |
The snowstorm Saturday night into Sunday morning, and the very cold temps,
gave us a bounty of feeder birds on Sunday:
- House finches
- Purple finches (2-3)
- Carolina chickadees
- Junco (1)
- Northern cardinal (1, male)
- Starlings (10+ at times, greedy buggers ate all the suet cakes)
- American robin (1)
- Mourning doves (4-6)
- House sparrows (lots)
- Song sparrows (lots)
- Pine siskin (not sure)
- White-throated sparrow (1)
- White-crowned sparrows (2)
