Subject: [CT Birds] Ross's and snow geese, Iceland and Glaucous Gulls
The adult Ross's Goose is still at Short Beach Park in Stratford today, but moves around alot and isn't always there.  An immature Snow Goose was with it aswell this am.  Also, the adult "Kumlein's" Iceland Gull was still at the Stratford Sea Wall on Beach Dr. across from the seafood restaurant.  While watching the gull an adult Glaucous Gull flew by and landed on a pole along the beach.  At one point both gulls were on telephone poles at the same time.  We had a flock of Snow Buntings by the parking lots at Short beach as well a flock of Dunlins too on the flats.
