Dec 11 will focus on winter field birds. Our morning will be a bit different than usual. We'll gather at Sapsucker Woods at 7:30 am and then create carpools to do a driving tour in search of winter field birds such as snow buntings, horned larks and maybe a Lapland longspur! We will reconvene at East Shore Roadhouse in Lansing for breakfast afterward before we head back to Sapsucker for our cars. We will organize the carpools to accommodate the breakfasters and those who need to return earlier to get to work or elsewhere.
