Weather: Overcast throughout the count period, with northwest winds strongest in the morning hours and tapering off to very little by afternoon, High 26 F
Raptor Observations: All raptors seen moving down the ride during the morning hours, with no movement in the afternoon. Two closer passes of Golden Eagles along the north side of the ridge in late morning, with good looks at an adult spending an extending time circling to find lift. A run of four Red-tailed Hawks moving down the north side of the ridge was the bulk of the movement on the day. A single juvenile Cooper's Hawk appeared north of the ridge, passing high on a southbound route
