Homer's Christmas Bird Count is Saturday, December 20th, and we'd like to invite birders who happen to be down here on that day to join us. We can always use more help and would love to have you join us. On the 20th we'll meet at 8:30 am at the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters (previously known as Islands and Ocean) to form teams and enjoy a hot drink and breakfast snacks before heading out at daybreak. We meet back there at 4:30 pm to talk about what we found and tally the species. Other CBC details will be on our website closer to that time, kachemakbaybirders.org.
