Small brown duck with bright white crisp round cheek patch, small bill, large white patch at base of bill that extended under eye and up to almost crown. In distant mixed duck flock. No photo"

- Comments: "female type bird ( not sure if female or juvenile, but definitely not an adult male). This continuing bird was found in the creek under the Hwy 1 Bridge where it is most often found. It move to the far bank when I arrived and then up creek maybe 50 feet. After checking the beach and ocean it was back under the bridge. I could not see any pink coloration on the bill. Mostly white face with a blotchy dark cheek patch, and mottled dark crown and a dark chin that blended into the dark chest."
