Subject: 125th CBC results - McClellanville was #16
For last year's CBC, McClellanville was tied for 16th in North America for
number of bird species - a three way tie at 178 with Ventura and Arcata
California. We were the top CBC east of the Mississippi and only
California and Texas counts beat us.

McClellanville had North America high counts for Green-winged Teal
(17,490), Wood Stork (264), Great Egret (1,105), White Ibis (5,169) and
Red-cockaded Woodpecker (57).

I am very proud of the McClellanville CBC participants - quality over
quantity.
