Weather: Overcast with on and off snow flurries/showers in the morning. Skies cleared some in the afternoon as the winds got stronger. Temperature hovered between 32-34 degrees F. Light NW winds increased to 10-15 mph, gusts 25mph in the afternoon.
Raptor Observations: Migrating Eagles:
Bald Eagles - 3 adults, 2 immatures Golden Eagles - 1 immature, 1 unaged
2 local adult BEs and 1 RT not counted
Non-raptor Observations: 1900+ Canada Geese, including 1 flock with a lone snow goose
High profile vehicle and 4WD will be needed to reach hawk watch. The top of Cold Spring Rd was compacted and will probably be solid ice after the low temperatures tonight.
