Hi all
This bird is a great find. A few of us looked later this morning and did not see it. We were approached by multiple people from the school and while they were ultimately ok with us looking around near the barranca (we were being good ambassadors), they are nervous about larger groups of people. That being said, please consider the following recommendations from me if you plan to look for this bird...
1. Please do not park in their parking lot. There is ample parking on the street. One birder car in their lot got the school's attention.2. Realizing this is a school, please stay away from the school buildings, students, faculty, and parents. This site is probably best visited on a weekend or outside of school hours.3. It is easy to look into the barranca from the fenced boundary with their lot so staying consolidated there is the best approach.
Given the sensitivity of the site and the fact that it is private property, please be respectful.
Thanks

Logan Kahle and I just had a Blue-winged Warbler in Arundell Barranca. We viewed it from the Ventura Montessori School parking lot, at (34.2780380, -119.2231906). It was foraging in eucs and oaks. Photos will be added to eBird later.
Good birding,Dessi
