Greetings SBCO Birders! On this year's Count Day (January 3) we have an unusually high tide, +7.0 Feet at 8:37 AM. These conditions could make it more challenging to find shorebirds in the morning. We have similar high tides coming the next three days: Thurday Dec 4 +7.2 Feet 8:00AM Friday Dec 5 +7.2 Feet 8:42AM Saturday Dec 6 +7.0 Feet 9:30AM If you are looking for a challenge over the next 3 days, outings in the morning to figure out where the shorebirds go when the tide is high could be helpful to us on count day.
