Subject: [sbcobirding] More Mesa - SEOW
Hi all,

This morning I checked a handful of spots on the way to campus without
turning up anything particularly notable. Stroke Field is damp but without
standing water and has a good flock of pipits that were all definitely
American with nothing else mixed in. Currently cars can only access this
spot from the southeast via El Colegio to Stadium Rd, because the parking
lot is under construction and the turn south from Mesa is also closed.
Fortunately a bike can still get here via the dirt road from Los Carneros!

This evening "on the way" home I stopped to check More Mesa, where a
Short-eared Owl is back again. There are also at least two Barn Owls
working the mesa so use caution if looking.

Best,
Conor McMahon
