- Reported Nov 25, 2025 08:33 by Roger Zachary
- Arroyo Del Puerto, San Luis Obispo, California
- Map: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=13&<q...>,-121.1890056&<ll...>,-121.1890056 - Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S286157375 - Media: 6 Photos
- Comments: "Continuing bird photographed yesterday by Petra and Jack. Bird was foraging down creek of the bridge at the mouth of Arroyo Del Puerto. We first noted the bold white eyering, streaked brown breast, and brown wings with pale spotting. Once closer the birds brownish streaked head and chest and white underparts stood out as did its yellow-green legs and mostly yellow-green bill that darkened before the tip. The primaries were darker than the back and coverts with pale spotting at the margins. Photos show the base color on the throat was whiter than the face or breast. Did not see the tail or rump in flight or hear the bird call."
