- Comments: "Non-breeding adult. Tiny gull with short black bill. Dark ear patch and crown. Gray mantle extended to sides of neck. Noticeably smaller and shorter necked than two Bonaparte’s Gull beside it. While swimming it rested very low in the water. In flight all black underwings outlined in white and rounded wing tips were apparent. White tail. Flew off west with one of the Bonaparte’s Photos will be uploaded from home."

- Comments: "Big flock of Chipping Sparrows foraging on either side of the path, flying up into the trees when startled. In the grassy picture there are at least 20 Chippies."

Showed narrow white on outer tail. Black lateral throat stripe was almost invisible and disappeared entirely before reaching the bill. Back showed faint stripes. Perhaps more than one among the many Bell’s Sparrows in the area."

Picked out by its greenish yellow head, buffy sides and undetail, and two bold white wing bars."

Yellowish green head with broken eye ring. Distinctive rosy coloring near rump. Was on ground, then flew up into trees.
