Wanted to share that the former waterfront Mangino's property that was acquired by the Town of Malta a few years ago is open for public use at last. There is a freshly paved parking lot and some picnic tables. The abutment properties are heavily posted and the water access is cordoned off (no swimming signs as well). However, I was able to get great views from the shore of the spot that happens to be just out of sight when viewed from Brown's beach (looking east).
