Forwarding this from Carter onto SBB:
" Looking at a candidate for Vega Gull currently sitting on a wooden structure at the east end of A1. Adult herring like gull but the eye is dark and the mantle is too dark. Primaries are black underneath with a medium sized mirror on the outermost primary. Medium pink legs, bill yellowish with a red gonys spot extending onto the upper mandible. Bird is too far out to see orbital ring, probably can't clinch ID without open wing shots. " 37°26'06.8"N 122°05'12.8"W.
