Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Kentucky Warbler, one more update at 9:55
The Kentucky warbler continued to move north to the very Northern edge of the undeveloped nicely planted area that's near the pond almost out to the roadway where you start getting all the bungalows, right now just short of bungalows number 139, 140 and 143. I've quickly gone out to that edge to outflank it and keep it into that undeveloped section where presumably it will be happiest and where it can be refound. If it heads out into the bungalows it's going to be a real real problem For multiple reasons. The bird is calling quite a bit and again gives a rich loud chip. At times it is traveling around with a male common yellowthroat, so don't let that bird get you too excited!

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
