I have them at my feeders in West St Paul most winters, though last year was an exception. I've been seeing two the past few weeks.
A few summers ago I looked out to see a pair of hatchlings drinking from our fountain, which almost certainly indicates nesting in the vicinity.

We usually have one at our place on the NW corner of Bde Maka Ska, but this year we have two! The feisty little ones rule the feeder pole!

I'm at the SW corner of the same lake and had one at my feeder for the first time in a long time a couple weeks ago. They're a great bird to have around.

I’m very happy to report Red-breasted Nuthatches at our feeders in southwest Plymouth. Haven’t seen them here for a decade and now there’s a feisty pair visiting daily. We saw several at the Arboretum in the pines section off 3 Mile Drive in early October. That was exciting!
