- Comments: "Found by Peter Schneekloth earlier. Hunting around aerator on NE pond. Pond cannot be seen from the fence but bird can be seen hunting in that area. DO NOT GO INTO WATER TREATMENT FACILITY OR ON THE ADJACENT FARMER’S property. Small tern. A little larger than a Least Tern. Non-breeding plumage. Black on the back of its head and nape. Mostly pale gray with black spot on cheeks. Shortish tail."

One on the northeast arm of the slough near the Whittier Bridge, about (34.42141, -119.87370).
Then, about 5 minutes later, saw another slightly east of Veneco Bridge, just to the south of the grad student family housing block (34.41753, -119.87278, about 450 m away).
Listing as a count of one but if I / someone gets a chance to check back in and confirms two I might update."
