Subject: [sbcobirding] Santa Maria Birding - Black Tern, Bald Eagle, Snow Goose
Update on the Black Tern, John Deacon was on it several hours after I first found it, link to rough photo below.

I also had an adult Bald Eagle at the Black Road flooded field site and a Snow Goose over in Waller Park. I spent a bit of time out at Guadalupe Dunes beach, it was being heavily washed by rough surf. Lots of gulls but they were far and I could not approach as entire width of river mouth was being washed by waves. Red Phalarope was the best bird but lots of Snowy Plover, Dunlin and Western Sandpiper to go through.
